We are accepting applications for the position of Part-time FF/EMT.
The Swarthmore Fire & Protective Association (“SFPA”) is currently accepting new applications for Part time Firefighter/EMT positions.
EACH APPLICANT FOR THE POSITION OF Fire Fighter/EMT-B:
- Must have attained twenty one (21) years of age on or before the date of application.
- Must be a high school graduate or have attained the equivalent thereof (G.E.D. Certificate).
- Shall be in every way physically qualified to sustain the labors and exposures of the position.
- Must possess a current, valid Driver's License.
- Must pass background checks.
- Must possess Pennsylvania EMT certification.
- Must possess Department approved Fundamentals of Fire Fighting certification.
- Must possess Department approved Emergency Vehicle Operations certification.
- Must possess Department approved Hazmat certification.
